Pleasant, Ky.  collects aluminum cans from the Classic Touch Car Wash and Lube Center in Bowling Green, Ky. on Wednesday morning.  Vontress has lived in Bowling Green for over 50 years.  He worked at Riley’s Bakery for 30 years.  He never had children, his wife of 51 years, Myrtle Ruth, died in 2000.  Vontress said now to fill his time he collects cans, mows two yards a week, goes to church and goes fishing.
